Hello Hello
HELLLLLLLO EVERYONEEE …if you’re still checking up on the site regularly I am very sorry for the lack of activity. Since we’ve been home we have had a lot going on and haven’t had a time to sit down and tackle the finals licks of our trip. At the moment I am school up in Oneonta, New York; so between dodging classes and doing work I haven’t found the perfect time to post new pictures and videos. But today i found a break in my schedule where I will make it my duty to post whatever needs to be put up so that you guys can enjoy it.
I get back from classes around 6:50…so around 7:30ish be sure to check back to see all that we experienced in the last 2 weeks of or trip when we were incommunicado. Thanks for being patient, and we’ll see you at 7:30

Friends, Family, and Followers.
Hey all,
Last night Brian and I were greeted at the airport with the loving and open arms of our family and friends. Upon arrival, I was having mixed feelings about being home. I thought of all the wonderful sights, smells, people and experiences that I missed in the magical place of Baja. However, the sight of smiling loved ones eased my ambiguous feelings and warmed my heart. To everyone that showed up last night, Brian and I appreciate it greatly and I cannot thank you enough. We are truly lucky individuals to have family and friends like you.
To all that have stuck with us through this journey…
Your comments, concerns, and encouragement brought smiles to our faces. We greatly appreciate all of you sticking with us, even when we kind of went M.I.A. at Punta Conejo for a while. Now that we are home please do not stop checking the site as we have a bunch of things to post. Thank you all once again.
Stay stoked and smile always…
B and Ant

Where Are They?
We have not spoken to or heard from Brian or Anthony since Saturday, July 21. Family members are getting nervous. If anyone has seen or heard from either of them, please comment on this post or shoot me an email at mike@schoolbustobaja.com.

Here’s the Plan
So we are currently experiencing a prolonged flatspell - not exactly what you hope for on a surf trip. There is speculation of a small groundswell moving from the South towards our area in the next week, however, this is quite a ways away and reports made in advanced can be altered at any time depending on the weather conditions and so forth. With the current plan being that we stay at our current location, San Pedrito, until midweek and then make our way a little North to Punta Conejo, where we will once again reunite with the notorious Kelso.
After all this time on the road, we have made a large dent in our food supply, except for our 50-pound bag a rice of course (we ate a significant amount though). After calculating an estimated time of stay here in Baja, we’ve come to the conclusion that we will just have enough food to last us until our departure. But in case we run out, there is always rice and Ramon (our last case scenario backup backup food). We try to minimize weekly trips to the local markets to pick up a few things here and there, but at some times we just can’t resist. Our oatmeal ran out a week ago, so now we are starting our days off with delicious pancakes, that, according to the box, is just add water. Everything else is great though. Ant and I are healthy and well; just awaiting that epic day of barrels. Although there hasn’t been the most ideal conditions lately, we have been bodysurfing, and swimming everyday.
The other night has Anthony and I just started eating our dinner meal, we spot a bunch of fishermen going crazy by the shore. We look up and there must of been thousands of fish just going bonkers in the sea. We are talking about frantic fish just swimming around and jumping out of the water like it was some kind of Olympic event. As soon as we spot this phenomenon, we grabbed the pole and headed down to the water to test our skills, and our luck. After much time of our lure getting caught on the rocks, and our countless casts returning fishless, we decided to give up and return to our already made meal. Maybe next time.
We have some photos of the past couple of days. It’s not much but they are definitely worth checking out. Thanks for keeping up with us . Stay stoked and smile…always!
